Lale Labuko – co-founder of Omo Child and main character in Drawn from Water – featured on NBC News.

Lale has rescued children from the untimely fate of the cultural practice known as mingi and in the process has brought sweeping cultural shifts throughout tribal regions in Southern Ethiopia. A few months ago Omo Child founders John Rowe and Lale Labuko sat down with Ann Curry for an interview at 30 Rock in New York City.
